Victory Of Jallikattu

Being a North Indian, I myself was unable to understand the imporatnce or I can say need of this sport. I have never witnessed any bull taming event and I don't know whether I want to see it in my future or not. But, after seeing massive support of Tamil people for this sport, It forced me to understand the perspective of Jallikattu. Jallikattu has been known to be practiced during the Tamil Classic Period (400-100 BC). It was common among the ancient people Aayars who lived in the ‘Mullai’ geographical division of the ancient Tamil country. Later, it became a platform for display of bravery and prize money was introduced for participation encouragement. Life - "A Cricket Match"

Source life is full of uncertainty, so as cricket. a single over gives you six opportunities, so as a single day, though more than six. opportunity to score, opportunity to climb. It's not about just fours and sixes, It's about little happiness which lies in singles. but we clap only for boundaries, not for the singles. If we have a goal, It becomes easy to chase. creating a goal, is just a different phase. winning a toss, is not in our hand. struggling like a boss, is all in our hand. life will throw, some yorkers and bouncers. you have to play, defensive and square cuts. don't be in hurry, you'll get run out. stay cool and calm nobody can bowl you out. If you don't like to play, a cricket match. then just remember, life is just a cricket match ("And you are playing it really well !!")  ;)
