7 things that every "Day Scholar" of DTU can relate to

1. Daily travel of 2-3 hrs

Ok, no doubt you are in a world class university. But, you have to spend 2-3 hours daily for up-down. It's like a "Daily based" job without any wages :p . Even some of them calculates how many months they have to spend in  public transport for rest of the years.

2. Break of 2-3 mid lectures instead of last one

The worst situation is 2-3 hour of break after morning lectures. Day scholars  be like 
"bc 1 ghante ka break dena tha na, 3 baje free kar dete , ghar to jaldi pahchte".

3. Holy shit!!! It's a bunk 

Undoubtedly you woke up early in the morning , got ready for the college. But , what if u come to know that it's a bunk for today after getting in the campus ;(

4. Ek Day scholar ka dard tum kya jaano Ramesh babu 

Well this line completely defines day scholars :p . No matter how much time it takes to reach here(campus). Whether you are from Rohini or east delhi or south delhi.
Day scholars are day scholars.

5. 879 issue :p 

Well, it's true that most of the issues are from 879 travelers (as i'v seen many posts on (Dce Speaks Up) . - A big issue.
A fully packed bus from "point to point". 
They're like - " yaar 165 gayi,106 gayi, grameen mudrika tak gayi..YE 879 KAHA REH GAYI" . and 165 travellers be like- "Ghanta" 1 bhi nahi aayi 165. :p

6. Hurry up!!

All the day scholars are in quite hurry after class is over, otherwise they'll gonna miss their buses. "" Bhag bhai , bus chali jaygi""

7. Friday Bunk

A bunk on friday is an asset for all the day scholars. After all, it's a 3 day consecutive off.
Plenty of time available to them. However, that's another thing that these 3 days goes completely wasted in watching series and endless sleep :p .

Victory Of Jallikattu

Being a North Indian, I myself was unable to understand the imporatnce or I can say need of this sport. I have never witnessed any bull taming event and I don't know whether I want to see it in my future or not. But, after seeing massive support of Tamil people for this sport, It forced me to understand the perspective of Jallikattu. Jallikattu has been known to be practiced during the Tamil Classic Period (400-100 BC). It was common among the ancient people Aayars who lived in the ‘Mullai’ geographical division of the ancient Tamil country.
